Welcome to The Art of Birthdays (“AOB”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our website www.theartofbirthdays.com (the “Website”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

These Terms govern your use of the Website and any services booked or accessed through it. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.

1. Using Our Website

• You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use.

• You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website, interfere with its operation, or introduce viruses or harmful code.

• We may suspend or terminate access to the Website at our discretion, for any reason, without prior notice.

2. Our Services

The Website allows you to access and book the following services:

• Birthday Experience Planning

  Birthday Experience Planning, including discovery consultation, creative concept development, curated research and supplier recommendations, birthday itinerary and budget, booking and coordination, gift and add-on suggestions, styling and design guidance, supplier liaison, virtual support, and optional in-person support.

  Planning fee starts at £395. Supplier costs, bookings, and gifts are additional and invoiced separately. Full payment of supplier costs is required before confirmation any bookings

• Birthday Edit

  A lighter, structured planning service designed to provide a curated “edit” of creative birthday ideas, recommended venues, activities, and thoughtful touches for the client to implement the celebration themselves, with professional guidance from us.

• In-Person Support

  Optional add-on for birthday experience planning, to manage the day and ensure a seamless experience.

• Downloadable Templates

  Tools such as itineraries, birthday calendars, and checklists, available for personal use only.

• Free Discovery Calls

  Introductory sessions to discuss your birthday plans. Provided at our discretion.

• Birthday Quiz

  Complete the quiz on our Website to receive three personalised birthday ideas via email. Provided at our discretion.

3. Booking and Payment

• All paid services must be booked via the Website or approved channels.

• Payment of the planning fee (and any optional add-ons) is required to confirm our services.

• Supplier or vendor costs are invoiced separately and must be paid in full before bookings part of birthday experiences are confirmed.

• Prices include VAT where applicable.

• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

• Full Refund: Only if work on your birthday experience has not yet started.

• Partial Refund: If you are not satisfied with any proposed ideas and choose not to proceed with bookings.

• No Refund: Once work has commenced and supplier/vendor bookings are confirmed.

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days.

• Third-party supplier cancellation policies may also apply. Where possible, we will liaise with suppliers on your behalf to secure a refund or exchange at our discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

• All content, ideas, and materials on the Website and provided as part of our services (including templates, itineraries, designs, and suggestions) remain the intellectual property of AOB.

• You may use them only for personal purposes and may not copy, distribute, sell, or share without written permission.

6. Liability

• The Website and our services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

• AOB is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in experiences, use of templates, or implementation of our ideas.

• While we aim to provide accurate and helpful recommendations, we cannot guarantee results, outcomes, or availability of suppliers.

7. Affiliate Links

• Some posts on our Website (including experiences and gifts) may contain affiliate links.

• If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

• This does not influence our recommendations; we only suggest products and experiences we genuinely support.

8. Ethical Standards & Feedback

• AOB maintains a high ethical standard. We do not endorse political parties, illegal activities, hateful practices, game hunting, conflict products, or organizations that exploit children, animals, or marginalized communities.
